September 16, 2002 - Full Radius Dance Full Radius Dance
is a modern dance company that:
Challenges prevailing attitudes about disability and dance.
Performs mature, choreographically complex works celebrating technique
and physicality.
Presents inventive new movement possibilities.
This always-interesting troupe will perform in University Rooms A, B and C on
Monday, September 16, from 3:30-4:45pm.
Full Radius Dance was recognized as the 2001-2002 Student Activities Outstanding Event of the Year.
Theta-Chi Wheelchair Race - Wednesday, September 25th
The annual DSO/Theta Chi wheelchair race will be held 3:30-4:45PM
just outside the Student Center Patio. Students
will be challenged to maneuver a manual wheelchair from the patio, up the
ramp to the library, through the library foyer operating two power doors,
out the other side of the library foyer, down the ramp and across the
sidewalk to the finish line. Three at a time, students, faculty and
staff will take their turns manipulating the chairs through the course to
win the coveted t-shirt which has a different design every year!
