not too old) songs that also hit the charts. Hot Hits Atlanta - WAVA is a CHR station.

A: CHR means Contemporary
Hit Radio. KIIS in Los Angeles, Z100 in New York, Y100 in Miami,
Q102 in Philadelphia, and WAPE in Jacksonville are just a few of the great CHR
stations around the country. You can expect to hear artists like
Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, 3 Doors Down, Destiny's Child, and Green Day on Hot
Hits Atlanta - WAVA.
Q Does listening
to WAVA cost anything?
A: Well, it depends! WAVA has become so popular lately that during peak listening hours our "free listening slots" are full. If you can't get in as a free listener, and you've listened before and would pay to listen, you can sign up as a VIP listener on Live365. Monthly packages are very inexpensive, less than a trip to Starbucks!

A: Yes! I

Q: Do you make any
money from having me listen?
A: Not really. Live 365 does pay us broadcasters a SMALL amount of the VIP fees. But so far the fees and expenses I pay are more than any rebate amount I've gotten. Maybe someday.

by a big broadcasting company?
A: Nope.
This is a one-dj operation. I do it all, from picking the music to
paying the bills. You might say I'm the President, General Manager,
Operations Manager, Program Director, Music Director, Chief Engineer, and
DJ. I also take out the trash.
Q: What do you get
out of it?
A: A lot of people
ask that. I want to run a radio station that people will enjoy.
When I check the stats, and I see that hundreds of people are listening, it gives me
a warm feeling all over. Or maybe it's just a good way to meet chicks.
