The best known recording from 2004

This is one of those boots that floated around the trading circles for a while before it surfaced as a commercial bootleg. It was a good one to choose because it outshines all the other recordings from this tour.

The set was the same for the whole tour except for the first couple of nights. Since none of those first nights' recordings have come to the surface, this one will have to represent the 2004 tour. It's very similar to the 2003 tour with one notable exception - the addition of "Feelin' Satisfied" which was performed with a new level of quality in the vocals. "Hollyann" also had a freshness to it with some new harmonies in new places. Well done, and well recorded.

What can I say about the recording? It's as good as it gets as far as audience recordings go. The mix is good, the crowd was well behaved and energetic, and the recording equipment was top-notch. It sounds as good as hearing it live with your own ears. And I know because I heard this show live with my own ears.

The artwork is nice. It's loaded with great interesting photos of the band playing live during the 2004 tour. The cover is a sort of wierd collage of all of them playing live. One interesting photo looks like it was shot from backstage. And one interesting shot shows all their unique guitar picks arranged around an image of the earth. The back cover image was shot from the on-stage mixing board. Very interesting!

Although there are several recordings flaoting about from this tour, this is the only commercial bootleg to surface so far. It's a good one, so no sence waiting for a better one.
