Live USA is just another Long Beach bootleg taken from the King Biscuit Flower Hour CD. If you've never heard the Long Beach concert, then you owe it to yourself to give this one a listen. But there are several bootlegs taken from the KBFH CD and this one is nothing special compared to the others.

The CD broadcast of the King Biscuit Flower Hour marked the latest change to the set. KBFH removed the Guitar Solo, This Time, and Television Politician, but added for the first time Peace of Mind. So it's both good and bad. Also, with the CD broadcast they altered the song order. I don't understand why they see fit to move Peace of Mind to near the end of the show. One other thing... I'll need to give it another listen, but I believe they also removed most of Brad Delp's speaking in-between songs, something that I particularly enjoy. And some bootlegs of this KBFH CD have removed the radio announcer, leaving either gaps of silence, or sloppy edits in place. This one probably falls into that category, but again, I'll need to give it another listen.

Since this was recorded professionally, the sound quality is top notch. It's even better since the source for this bootleg was the KBFH CD instead of a the KBFH LP, or a recording from FM radio.

The artwork is lame. Derek Brown describes it as "El Cheapo Sleazoid Graphicos." :-) I'd have to agree. The back cover is just plain white with the songs listed. The disc itself only lists the songs, including (don't you just love bootleg typos) "Peane of Mind". Hahaha.
